Stained Glass Level 2

Students will learn to do all the basic processes of creating a stained glass piece. The pattern can have no more than 10 pieces. We can give you a pattern or you can choose your own.

Double Trouble on the Potters Wheel

Due to popular demand! we are repeating a special session for two people to sign up together for a discount! This is for adults.

Try out the potters wheel together in this 3 hour session. Clay and instruction is provided. Each person will have a wheel to work on. Projects will not be finished or fired. However, if you make something you want to keep, an extra fee of $20 will be added for a glazing session and for firing the piece.

First person registered is $60, and second is $50. Please register with one payment of $110. You may apply the $10 PRAC member discount if one person is a member.

Short fingernails are best for clay work. Bring an apron and a small hand towel with you.

Glass Fusion Class

With Sharon Doucet.

Adult class.

Make an 8” spring-themed circular glass plate with colorful fused eggs.

All glass and materials are supplied. Participants will personalize their plates.. Sharon will fire the work at her Berwyn studio, and finished pieces will be ready in a few short weeks.

Minimum 6 participants. Maximum 8. Please register early.

Beginner Pottery

With MaryAnne O’Byrne, Trudy Plaizier

For Adults

Learn wedging and wheel throwing basics. The goal of the beginner series is that the novice potter will centre clay successfully and pull a straight-walled cylinder. All instruction is focused on these skills.

Kiln firing and glazing are included in the $260 fee. Clay cost is $20, included in the registration fee. Additional clay may be purchased at the class.

This is a 6 session class, with 18 hours of instruction and work time, (a great deal)! You will achieve a firm foundation for your wheel throwing journey ahead.

PRAC members may apply their $10 PRAC discount at registration.

Spend a relaxing evening with us at the Art Hub. Lori will guide your creative energies to paint from the heart, resulting in your own unique expression. Canvas, paints and brushes are supplied. Your $65 fee includes one beverage and a snack plate prepared by Peace Valley Inns. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available to purchase.

This is a stress-free event designed for friend groups, pairs, or just yourself to be creative with others.
